My wife and I selected Mike Monteleone from over 25 agents who wanted to list
Mike introduced to Variable Range Pricing , which resulted in 35 agents on Caravan Day and
three offers in two days. An agent came in at full asking price from another firm and second best offer
from an agent within the Monteleone Group. We had reservations concerning conflict of interest if one agency represented both buyer and seller. Mike worked diligently to help us receive the higher price even though his group would lose half of the commission.
When the lender turned down the first buyer we were grateful for Mike's back up buyer.

Here it is in June and I never dreamed that I would have been relocated so quickly.
I had been in my home for 38 years in the Valley. I had had my sale, home listed previously, for sale and it was on the market for six months or so. I did not have one offer, so was content in removing my home from the market. I was comfortable. I had decided to take my home off the market until the economy got a little stronger.
After my home from the market I naturally had many brokers call with offerings of insurmountable feats, looking for my listing. I was discouraged and rejected all attempts. One evening had a call. Sounded good ! I listened to what was said and agreed to meet with Mike Monteleone to see what he had to offer. I was pleasantly surprised with Mike. Merri and I wanted to write and thank you for the fabulous job you did in selling our Tarzana house in September 2009. You came highly recommended and we were impressed with your initial presentation. We selected you over 3 other brokers because of the depth of your experience and your confident style. As novice sellers, we assumed that you would list the property and represent it professionally. We had no idea what else we were getting when we hired you. You skillfully marketed the property with outstanding pictures and multiple listing contacts. It was only when the offers came in did we appreciate your talents as a deal maker. To sell a property in this market required a deal maker. The buyers had the upper hand due to market conditions, but we had the better realtor. You conscientiously presented every offer and helped us understand the realities of selling our house. When the buyers presented offers, your double credit application process helped us to select the most qualified buyer. A qualified buyer is a must. When the price was agreed upon and the qualified buyer began to present unreasonable repair requests you countered with your own expertise and a contractor who could make only the needed repairs at a reasonable price..
